Crusader Kings II Review

Personally there is nothing to amuse us more than a good strategy game, these are fun, challenging, and above all are extremely interesting to play. Crusader Kings II is the next installment of strategy Paradox Interactive, a company that has given us so much joy thanks to their games that we do not know how to thank them.

Strategy of the dynasties:

In Crusader Kings II the game's plot does not go from battle to battle, or blood in blood, sword or sword, in this excellent strategy game in real time the action is based on the conservation of a dynasty for a long period of life in Europe.

Leaving aside the war scenes and focusing more on the true life of royalty, their conflicts and decisions, the game shows the other side of the war, the hidden face, which is thought and meditating inside the castle. But do not worry; this is not boring or slow, much less easy.

Crusader Kings II is a game unlike any other strategy game like A Game of Thrones: Genesis or Anno 2070, sets a different caliber that it is still very good despite sometimes lacking a certain complexity that is present in this title.

Gameplay:

Each of the small provinces of Europe is a new territory to conquer, and to achieve this we must form alliances, make treaties or to undertake a military campaign. In this game not be bothered by the battle, but the strategy behind it and the consequences thereof.

Crusader Kings II is an intellectual challenge rather than technical. Although the number of options and actions available in this game seem smash in the first instance, after a short period of play, a reading tutorial and help provided in the game, the task of mastering and grow our dynasty is a breeze.

Audio and video:

Unfortunately the graphics of this game are not the most beautiful in the world, far from it. The strategy seems set on a table top and the designs are not the most tidy, however the menus are well designed and have nice touches.

Moreover, the sound does not show a very comprehensive, the voices are weak and at times implausible, but the music and some sound effects save the game repeatedly disappointed.

Conclusion:

Not easy to find a strategy game that allows control of a family and a dynasty as does Crusader Kings II, for this reason is a highly recommended game that offers an experience quite different and entertaining. This game is extremely fun as well as being extremely challenging.
