With the biggest update we have seen in months and perhaps ever, Nintendo unleashes a total of 5 new games on us today. Sure some of it is just catching up with North America but there are some good games here, some very good games. It's a Mega Pack of Mega Drive games from SEGA.

I knew this day would come.  I prayed it wouldn't and after so many months passing since its fortelling, I thought my prayers had been answered.  But, alas, they had not, for today is the day Donkey Kong Jr. Math is released in North America.

It boggles the mind attempting to understand what is going through Nintendo's collective head.  What sold well in 1985, will not necessarily translate into a Virtual Console blockbuster.  Ah well, not much here today, so go outside, and celebrate the holiday here in the States instead.

A small update with a huge head. Yes folks, it's another Bonk title this week and if that's not enough than you can bet the house on the other game.

Microsoft had been on a streak, releasing classic game titles with superbly updated graphics.  I say had been, because I really question their thinking this week.  Streets of Rage 2 was a good game in its time, but not the classic I had come to expect from the X-Boys.  And Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo?  Come on.  Yes, they updated the graphics, and they look good, but I don't know that I want to shell out 800 points for this obscure puzzler.  Either way, here are today's releases.
