Well, the releases are here, and Galaga, which has been available in Europe for some time has finally arrived stateside, along with a free other cool titles, including a certain "Kidd" you may remember...

The people over at Nintendo must have had an itchy trigger finger this week as the V.C. releases have hit a bit earlier than the standard Friday morning. This week we're blessed with three classic releases from the SEGA system including that blue Hedgehog, the God of Lightning and Vectorman.

Here's the list of Virtual Console games for release today in the United States. Not a bad gathering...2 classics, and that other game. Honestly, this is the first week in quite a few, that I can't wait to download and play the games offered. One problem, Nintendo has snuck in a price increase. The NES game is the first for which they are charging 600. (They did this once before with R-Type for the TurboGrafx-16, charging 800 points.) Regardless, here is today's list.
