Recently I was discussing the release of the Wii with some friends here in the Czech Republic.

One of them asked a question I had to think about for some moments before I answered. The question was "If you have a computer why spend your money on a gaming console? I wouldn't spend mine on it."

Well, portable modder extraordinaire, Ben Heck, is at it again. Those of you familiar with his work have seen his other portable conversion projects: an Atari 2600, a SNES, a PS2, and many more. This time he decided to tackle the grandaddy...the only next-gen console currently available: the Xbox 360.

So I was stumbling around the internet today trying to kill some time while the Just Cause demo uploaded to Cigdangle and the Joint Task Force demo downloaded when I ran across an interesting site.

Every Video Game which purports to allow you to Play all the old video games you grew up with - online and free. Nintendo, Sega, Gameboy and more.

Here is a funny spoof of a Nintendo Wii commercial, in the style of the new Apple Mac ads. It made me laugh, but think as well: Is this what Nintendo has reduced itself to? Yes, its a joke, but its relatively accurate.

I found this cool video over at Youtube.com. Incredibly well done, with a plethora of video game references, but just goes to show you, some people have too much time on their hands.
