Nintendo has confirmed that our friends acorss the pond (the U.K.) will have 27 Wii games and 31 Virtual console games available this December. They've done a flip-flop with some of the titles launching in the U.S. (the U.S. get some earlier, the U.K. sees some different ones sooner), but its quite the list, nonetheless. Wii games will cost £34.99 to £39.99, and virtual console games will be approximately £3 to £8. Here's the list, in all its Christmas glory:

Just in case my brethren here in the States were feeling left out, Nintendo has released the list of games that will be released before Christmas in the U.S. It is a beautiful list, with some great titles, and some distinct differences from the U.K. list posted earlier today. Look over, and salivate folks.

This morning Xbox Live is pushing its latest update with a feature set like never before (85 updates in all). Funny, they managed to get all this stuff out the door right before the release of their two competitor's new consoles. Regardless, there is some pretty cool stuff listed. For those of you with no hard drive, this update will be available to you.

New details on Halo 3 from Bungie, via Swedish magazine LEVEL. They revealed a great deal of their recent sitdowns with bungie, including details about weapon, vehicle, level, control and collector's edition details.

Weapons
Spartan Laser - tool that has the power to disable vehicles with a single shot
       Brute Spike Grenade - sticks to walls and shoot out nails when they explode
       Spikers - a melee weapon

Ubisoft is opening a business office in Mexico citing the stabilization of the market lately and the "amazing opportunity for growth in the market".

So all you gamers, game sellers and game developers in Mexico can expect some new opportunities as well.
