Stronghold Crusader, arguably one of the most addictive PC-based RTS games ever made, is going to become even more so.  Stronghold Crusader Extreme, as the updated version will be called, will include huge battles with over 10,000 units on screen, a new tactical aid bar which allows you to unleash "super moves" on your enemies, a new Extreme Trail with 20 brand new missions, and many features previously available only in Limited Editions.

Firefly Studios and Gamecock Media Group said the title will release sometime in May 2008.  In celebration of today's announcement, they released two screenshots and a trailer.  Enjoy!
