Midway released a bunch of assets for their new open world driving game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Wheelman.  The game stars Vin Diesel and is scheduled to ship to stores this fall.

Nine screenshots, a one minute trailer, and the launch of the game's website (which can be found at www.wheelmangame.com), were all released today.

Developed by Midway-Newcastle and Diesel's Tigon Studios, Wheelman is "a white knuckle thrill ride that unfolds throughout the streets of Barcelona".

The game is filled with car chases while utilizing powerful cinematic moments throughout the game's storyline.  Vin Diesel stars as an undercover agent and highly skilled driver who must infiltrate the Barcelona underworld to gather intelligence surrounding a covert heist. Posing as a driver-for-hire, he ends up caught in a crossfire of corruption and chaos while trying to stay one step ahead of local law enforcement and rival gangs.
