[Review] [PC]

This review of Climbers is the result of Snorkle256 and myself trying to throw SuperGuido off a mountain.  Why?  Because it's fun!

Climbers 01 Anyone ever want to be on Wheel of Fortune?  Spin the wheel, guess a letter, and win fabulous prizes - if you solve the puzzle!  Well, forget about the fabulous prizes (we can't afford that here all that often), but you can win bragging rights when you're standing on top of the mountain after winning this fun and easy game.

Climbers is simple point and click.  Choose a letter to fill in the puzzle.  You'll move up the mountain based on how many times your chosen letter appears and what level of the letter pyramid it was on  (Hint: Top level = 8, 2nd = 6, 3rd = 4, and 4th = 2).  You can solve the puzzle when you know it by clicking the blue arrow button at the top.

Climbers 02 However, if you make a WRONG guess, you'll be climbing back down the mountain.  You can establish a "save point" of sorts by putting in a spike into the mountain in lieu of making a guess.  With this in place, you won't travel past your spike during the decent.

One of the nice aspects of Climbers is the puzzles aren't too easy to solve, and there is a challenge in getting the points that you need.  It's also a multi-player game for 2-4 players.  The site, Geewa, isn't well publicized in the USA yet, so you might have to wait to find players if you have not arranged to meet someone in game.  However, it is very easy to invite friends to play with you.

The game is a lot of fun, particularly the multi-player aspect, so instant message a few friends and go climbing!
