[Review] [PC]

Mouse in Danger 01I found this game awhile back, but had been refusing to write about it because I can't really win!  In fact, I really feel like taking my mouse, strangling it, and then throwing it across the room.

Of course, then I thought, “Why should I be alone in my frustrations, when instead I can share it with all of you?"

Mouse in Danger is a skill game.  Its half memory / half hand control.  The premise is every computer user's worst nightmare: a virus has hit your computer, and the only thing that survived is your poor, defenseless pointer.  You need to guide it to the freedom of cyberspace before the nasty vampire virus eats it.

However, those virus vampires are tricky little buggers, and they have killed your display so you can't see where they are hiding.  So unless you're lucky and can find a light bulb to light the way for a moment, you’ll have to remember the maze and not let ANY PART of your pointer touch it.

Mouse in Danger 02 You can also gather coins for bonus points, which can gain you an extra life.  There are also flags that can either help guide your way or warn you of traps.

You get ten lives, and each level gets a bit harder.

This game needs to really be played on a computer with a high processor, however.  If you computer likes to pause and delay your mouse movements, it will cost you greatly as precision skills are needed to tackle the higher levels.  The flash ads on freeonlinegames.com don't help either.

Good luck.  I'm going to try and defeat this flower maze again…
