[Review] [PC]

This week I run loose, turning the world into a rampant place of filth and disease.  Oh I bet you wish Alison's Internet was working this week!

epidemic02I know what you are thinking; Who would allow such a madman access to a bio-warfare lab?  The irresponsible party is none other than Crazy Monkey Games studio.  Pandemic 2 is a rework of Pandemic, but fighting against convention, this sequel is even better than the original.  So many updates have been made that I have shunned Pandemic, locking it in the cellar and pretending that Pandemic 2 is the only child I ever had.

epidemic06The goal of Pandemic 2 is to create, shape and guide a virus, bacteria or parasite that can infect, sicken, and kill the entire population of the world.  Sounds simple right? Wrong!  Pandemic 2 allow certain countries to preemptively close their borders, close harbors and ground flights in order to fend off your biological attack.

Pandemic 2 also offers a simple mode that require less strategy, less time, and honestly, just plain less game.  Screw that!  I went straight for the "realistic" mode and found that they only thing that could be better would be little screams of agony.

I won't reveal everything in the game, just enough to lure you to the dark side.  After all, leaving other people to "the horror" is one of my favorite things.  That being said, I leave you with two thoughts: check this game out and damn you, Cuba!
