Summer's almost here, and it's time to start playing with fireworks again!  But before you blow your hand off and end up in the ER, a friend of mine has pointed me toward a game that can help satisfy your bottle rocket urges in a safe and limb-friendly way.

Rocket Mania is a play on the plumber-style games.  You twist the pipes to get a direct path from one end of the screen to the other.  In this version, you're creating a fuse to the rockets to light them.  Each level gives you the amount of rockets that you have to have go off before sunrise.  (Because fireworks are not fun in the daylight, don’t cha know?)

However, you can also make chains and light multiple rockets at once, and earn coins which are to upgrade your rockets to bigger point values.  There are also gems that appear on the screen for a limited time; these can also increase your score.

 As the levels get higher, you also get bonus items, like bombs and time clocks, to help you as the levels gets more complicated.

After a set number of points, your rank increases as well.

In the end it's a fun and easy game to understand, and always different each time you play.  My best score was 51,275.  Care to take a go?
