You want Iron Man? I found you Iron Man. In fact, I found a few Iron Man games. However, most of them are a big disappointment to me as they are all the same - click, shoot, rack up points.
So, let's take a look at the few that I've found...
Iron Man Test Flight
This one is pretty interesting, but it gets monotonous after awhile. You control Iron Man with the arrow keys, shoot little blaster shots with the mouse button (hold it before firing to power it up and get combos), and use the space key to fire the chest canon to take out all the drones on the screen. I'm sure as the levels get harder it gets more interesting, but the first 6 levels bored me with their ease that I decided to let Tony crash and burn MUWAH HA HA!
Like you've never killed your gaming characters for fun.
Moving on...
Hasbro's Iron Man Drone Attack
It's the child friendly shooter game, although child friendly and shooter games don't really mesh well in my mind. Regardless, it's similar to the first one in that you move with the arrow keys, shoot with the space bar, blow things up and they will just come back again. Though in this one you get to fight a villian every now and then, but he always "runs away".
Come on; this is Hasbro!
And last and "God-why-did-I-play-this" least...
Iron Man Dress Up Game
Now I wouldn't mind UN-dressing Iron Man... mmm Robert Downey Jr..... but yeah, unless you're into dress up dolls (and no, I don't want to know)... However, this is a good place to quickly stop in if you want to see all the different styles of the Iron Man suit through various comics for a few decades.
And that's all that I can find out that at the moment, but I'm sure there will be more as Iron Man continues it's run in theatres. If you've found one that isn't listed above, shoot me links as a comment and I will do a second installation on Iron Man games next week.
