Before you play this game, gather your family, friendsCrash Test Dummy Olympics 01 and co-workers.  If you're sitting in a Starbucks, walk over to the barista and let them watch you play the game.

Why?  Because it's the Olympics, and you’ll need people to play against, and after watching you complete a round, everyone's going to want to play.

Welcome to the world of Crash Test Dummy Olympics.  In this hefty two-part special edition of Hump Day Blues, you're going to compete in both the High Jump, and in Curling.

Crash Test Dummy Olympics 02 First, the high jump; the action occurs in two parts with three jump attempts.  The dummy is placed in a car that begins accelerating toward a brick wall.  You must press the space bar to change gears at the optimal time to maximize the car’s speed.  At the end of the track, the car will strike a brick wall, the game will pause, and wait for a space bar press to choose the trajectory at which the dummy will launch from the car toward another wall.  The higher on the wall it strikes, the better your score will be.Crash Test Dummy Olympics 04

In curling, you control the car the same way, but the angle of the dummy’s launch will determine how far along the ground you'll slide, aiming for the center of the house (the curling target) a distance away.

The angle of the dummy launch, as well as the speed of the car, will both have direct results on how you will score in each event.

Crash Test Dummy Olympics 03 This game has the makings of an inter-office competition, so practice hard, just like the real Olympians, and give it your best.  Just don't let your boss hear your cry of joy when you crush the executive down the hall.  You know, the one that always steals the last glazed doughnut.

And that victory dance... I don't think so.  The Running Man is from the 80's, and it really needs to stay there.

Enjoy!
