I've read a few articles similar to this, so I decided to compile a comprehensive list myself. There has been a slew of complaints and a lot of grumbling since the annoucement of the cost of the PlayStation 3. Realistically speaking, its not all that expensive. Don't believe it? Check out the chart below.

I'm reminded of Ubi Sub Ubi...it's an old Latin joke. Don't know it? Well, nevermind it's not that important. So there were two 'alleged' leaks from Ubi-Soft this year. Man I think someone's been suckered. No, I don't think the bigheadz at Ubi are the suckers. I think the gaming community is.

This is the second part of Generation Gamerz's recent interview with Andrew and Dave from Gamelife.

You can read the first part of the interview here.

CD: How were you first approached by MTV? Any talks on expanding your role on the G-Hole or possibly moving the show to television?
DC: I'd rather shoot myself before going on MTV as a full blown program.
AR: We were first approached by MTV before E3. They e-mailed us saying that they were interested in doing a deal. So, after E3, we got in touch, and we got on the G-Hole. But we don't have any talks right now about expanding on the G-Hole or becoming a separate program, although I would like to have a program, even if it is on MTV at 4:00 in the morning...instead of the music videos they don't play.

Recently, SuperGuido and CigDangle got the chance to sit and talk with Andrew and Dave from GameLife, "...a one-of-a-kind video game review show focused on showing real people actually playing the games in real time, so the viewer can get a taste for what the game offers." The guys talked about their sudden rise to fame, working with MTV, their favorite games, and even offered a sneak peek at the next episode.

SuperGuido: You seem like a diverse group. How did you all get together and decide to begin doing live game reviews?
Andrew Rosenblum: OK, well it first started with me and Alex, where last summer - not this past one, but 2005 - we just decided to shoot a video game review show.

SG: And it grew from there to include the others? How did that come about?
AR: We put it on the Internet as an afterthought and it was so horrible that we wanted to make it better. Dave came in the second episode as a permanent host, and Melissa and Geoff submitted their review over the Internet, since Geoff gave us the web space. Melissa contacted me over MySpace in a friendly way: "Oh, I wish I could come to the Gamer's Lounge", while Geoff was offering free web space over MySpace. Dave was just around my town and he was watching this all happen.

Can you believe I have been on Counter-Strike hiatus for two years now? I can, and it shows in my game play. I was never amazing or anything like that but I used to be able to balance kills and deaths.

But you know what truly amazes me about the game?

No, not it's staying power over the last four years, though that is in fact quite impressive. No not the number of servers and clans that are still actively participating in the community, which is more than I could even dare to count.

It's the amount of cheaters! After all this time there are people still using mods and hacks and aiming scripts in the game. I often find myself asking "why?" because I have a lot of time in spectator mode watching the cheaters. I mean A LOT of time. So I decided to carefully study the guy "ICantBelieveImThatGood" to see what the deal was.

 [OpEd] [PC]

I was playing the demo levels of the new Warhammer 40,000 game Dawn of War: Dark Crusade and the units SHOOT THROUGH THE LAND!

Amazingly lame for a game series as mature as this one. And why has it become a trend to tack on as many names as you can to the game title. Even the abbreviation is massive WH40K:DoW:DC. It reads like a cryptography key from World War II.

At first I thought, 'why are they shooting the land,' then I saw they were actually shooting through the land to hit my building.

I'll have more on this game, which is scheduled for release 9 October, after I play the other demo level. But I can tell you right now I am quite disappointed with THQ and Relic on this one. They blew one of the most basic rules of gameplay.
