Here are some quotes from the SplitFish Press Release today that I found rather unprofessional and even questionable. Who are these people anyway and who wrote the press release, a mouthpiece for Sony?

Here is a copy of the email I sent to SplitFish asking them about the recent press release:

Mr. [Ken] Tetterington,

I was hoping you might answer some questions I have about your recent press release announcing the "delivery of the MotionFX Adapter for the Sony Playstation 1 and 2 to GameStop retail locations across North America."

So I am preparing to embark upon a trip across the country (Czech Republic) to visit my girlfriend. But the visit is oh so much more than that because tomorrow is also Nintendo Wii Release Day.

So what does that mean for me? It means more than a visit to see her but it also means much more than the potential of the Wii.

So, Take-Two has now sold their soul to the advertising devil. They have penned a deal with Double Fusion, notorious in-game advertising firm. The two have agreed to a multi-title deal that could include as many as nine for the sale of in-game advertising. Essentially, the deal makes Double Fusion the in-game advertising firm for all of 2K's North American and European releases in 2007 and 2008. The deal includes all platforms and PC, except Xbox and the Xbox 360.

It is December 1st and the people of Ceske Budejovice are rejoicing. No, not because it is December but because we have a new shopping centre, Mercury. It's quite a nice place and it is aptly named as the new bus station is on the top of the building. I know strange right?

Now some of you are thinking what the hell does this have to do with video games? Well, in the shopping centre, much to my delight today (I, like half the city was curious and went to check it out), is a DatArt which is basically the largest chain of electronics stores in the country. So I spent some time playing Battlefield 2 on the Xbox 360 display and drooling on the slim PS2s and such.

I decided to take some time and cruise around eBay today to see what there was to see in the world of gaming. First off I came across nutjob or genius, Zothunder who is selling a PS3, Wii and 27 games and offering to personally dress up like Santa Claus and deliver the stuff to you. Ok so that's actually a value-added service to the package if you have a 10-year old child you are buying the stuff for and are LOADED because the shipping alone is set at $5000. The Buy now price is ONE MILLION DOLLARS (dips hat to Dr. Evil). Surprisingly the guy has a feedback rating of 99.4% with 177 pieces of feedback, so he's somewhat legit. It's a creative way to pay off some college loans I'll admit, but overall it makes me sick that he is attempting to make such high profits off other people's happiness. Not to mention he is one of the reasons several people did not get consoles at release time.
