Today wraps up the interview with Ron Rejwan. We'll look at the future of the game and a list of teasers that Ron supplied us with that will make the game stand out from some of the other games available.

10) What are you hoping to accomplish with Wargames 2.0? Ron:My wildest dream is searching the phrase "Wargames 2.0" on Google and finding thousands of results. I love feedback, and I love to see people playing and enjoying what I create. I can honestly say that my biggest hope is to have people get addicted to it .

11) What do you see as the future of Wargames 2.0, will it become subscription based or will it remain free to play? Ron:As I've stated on the front page of the site, Wargames 2.0 is completely ad-free and free of charge and will remain so. I really hate ads and spammers. I will never turn to that. However, since servers are not free, I will put a small donation button in the game, and hopefully people will appreciate my game enough to donate a few dollars and help me keep it running.

Teasers: Ron was gracious enough to give us a list of things we can expect in the game when it is finished. Some of them are what you would expect to find in a game of this genre and some are new ideas or new looks at old ideas.

Budget system: The player has direct control on how much percentage of the country's budget is invested into 4 different aspects: Research, Military, Unit Production & the Super Weapon project.
Taxation system:You choose how much tax to charge from your citizens; higher tax means less people will live in your country and more chances of riots
Language:I've worked long and hard on a special XML based system that has the entire language pack of the game, meaning the game can be translated by a player in a matter of 30 minutes. This means many will be able to play in their native language.
Global market:Selling and buying military units is pooled to each league, meaning the more you sell, the less expensive it is to buy for different players in your league.
Advisors:This option is divided into general info on your country, mostly intended for new players, and a statistics section, containing graphs and info on your country for more advanced and serious players.
Research:Your country's development is divided into 4 different R&D types; technology, biology, social & industrial. Development in tech allows you to discover new improvements for your country, new government types to choose from, new attacks, new spy attacks, new super weapons and more.
War Generals:Your army is divided into 4 units, each has its strengths & weaknesses versus other units, and your entire army is managed by war generals that gain experience on each attack, allowing you to improve them as you see fit.
Covert Ops: Attack your enemies using spies without them knowing it was you.
Super Weapons:Develop expensive super weapons, that allow you to eradicate your enemies, such as nuclear, chemical, or E.M.P. missiles, Spy satellites and more.

Each super weapon has 3 levels of improvement. We want to thank Ron for taking time to give us an update on the game.

We here at Generation: Gamerz are looking forward to Wargames 2.0 and we hope some of you are as well. Hopefully Ron will allow me to drop some notes here when the beta opens and I get a chance to peek inside his creation.

Tak cau!
