Third day of Gamer Christmas, and still going strong. I know personally, I just finished my Christmas shopping last night, which is later than usual. If you are in the same boat, and are still looking for ideas, for the geek on your list, check these out. (You can also read Day 1 and Day 2.)

SuperGuido's Pick

 The Slingbox Pro
To be placed at my father's flat so I can remotely control and watch all the stuff I want from his American cable through the internet whenever I want. Mostly I am certain it would end up being Cartoon Network, Sci-Fi and History Channel because honestly that is about all that I miss. Well I could watch Heroes first run instead of waiting for the next day which would be a bonus. That's ok with you right dad? This is one of the coolest gadgets on the planet at the moment and it should be for the hefty pricetag that is attached to it.

TurboGoat's Pick

Microsoft Flight Simulator X (DVD Deluxe Edition)

I haven't been able to play the demo (tech problems with my new video card), but after seeing ads and reading various reviews…I want it…I REALLY want it! As a professional pilot who gets certified to fly airplanes via full-motion simulators, I am impressed with what I have seen so far. The graphics are as good as any of the real-world simulators I have flown. They have added more airplanes and more detail to the cockpit displays. Early versions of the sim gave only a few airports like the now deceased Meigs field. Now, with the vastly increased database and mapping, you have the ability to grind across the country to your favorite airports in real-time. If you get bored, you can try some of the specialized missions like aerobatics, flying in relief supplies or rescuing workers from a burning oil platform. It's these kind of diversions that make this the total package.

CigDangle's Pick

Attack of the Bacon Robots & Epic Legends Of The Magic Sword Kings
(Penny Arcade Vol. 1 & 2)

If you've never visited Penny Arcade and sampled the colleted works of Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, then here is your chance to catch up. Every comic they produced for their site from 1998 to 2002 is reprinted in these two volumes (Volume 3 is coming soon!). Why would I buy these volumes if I can just read them online? Commentary and "Bonus Features". I own both, and have read Volume 1 cover to cover, and am just starting Volume 2 (I just got it last night, so give me time!)

Enough said. Buy it.
