I've always liked the idea of mobile phone gaming. After all, having a great game to pass the time without having to carry another piece of electronics really appeals to me. But the games have never really delivered, and often leave me flat. Even Tiger Woods, which I still play on occasion, lost its appeal after I mastered putting.
So, when I received Heroes - The Official Mobile Game from Gameloft, I was obviously skeptical. I figured it would be another license trashing title made worse by cramming it on a phone.

We all know and many of us love the classic film E.T. Many of us also
remember and loathe the original E.T. game of 25 years ago that has
been blamed singlehandedly for causing the videogame crash of the 80's.
Of course that's quite an overstatement but I am pretty sure the game
didn't help things. Well Ojom has brought the lovable alien back to us
from the far reaches of the galaxy in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. All the way from the Star War
Universe if you watched closely in those senate scenes. But can they
overcome the pain and suffering we felt at the hands of the first game?

EA Skate is a fairly good game on the consoles. But shrink it down and slap it on a mobile, can it still shred like a pro? I took several days of playing to find out if I can cut it as a thrash junkie and string together the moves in the half-pipe for the ultimate line.
